Sharkproofed is a training tool. AI investor personas question your pitch and score your words and audible delivery so you can practice before real meetings. You pitch and answer on camera for the pressure drill, Tape Scan and replay. On supported iPhones, the default-on On camera notes setting also provides separate, unscored observations about eye line, posture, hands and visible facial movement. These notes never affect the score and do not infer emotion, confidence or honesty. The feedback is AI-generated opinion for practice purposes. It is not investment, financial or legal advice, and a high score is not a promise that anyone will fund you.
You must be at least 18 years old. Sharkproofed is for professional and business pitch practice and is not directed to children.
Your recordings are yours. A completed pitch remains locally in the app on your phone for up to 90 days unless you delete it sooner. Saving copies the original to Photos, and sharing with a score creates a branded copy on your phone. You give us the limited license needed to process your content to provide the features you use, through the providers described in our privacy policy.
The app extracts a temporary audio copy and uploads it for Gemini analysis. While On camera notes is on, it also uploads a reduced copy of the pitch video after the audio for a separate Gemini pass that returns up to four timestamped, unscored notes. You can switch this off in Account before recording. The local audio copy is deleted after upload. Server audio is deleted after processing, before the text-only final judgment or retry; the reduced video copy is deleted after its separate pass. Storage deletion is retried durably with a 24-hour lifecycle fallback. Providers may separately retain data for security and abuse monitoring as explained in the privacy policy. Answer video is not uploaded.
Full pitch-video Cloud backup is separate and off by default. If you enable it, the pitch is uploaded separately after analysis starts and may be kept for up to 90 days. That backup is never AI input. Account lets you disable backup or delete local and cloud copies sooner. A validated text checkpoint may be kept in EU-hosted Convex for up to 15 minutes while the final text step retries. Scores, transcripts and feedback remain with your anonymous history until you request deletion. We claim no other rights to your pitch or your idea.
If Ask the Coach is available and you use it, the same limited license covers your selected or typed question and the text-only run material needed to answer once about the priority already shown in your verdict. The question and answer stay with that completed run until you use Delete everything. Ask the Coach is not general business, investment, financial or legal advice.
If you choose to start Live Coach after its separate disclosure, the license also covers streaming your microphone audio and a bounded version of that verdict's priority to ElevenLabs for one voice drill of at most 90 seconds. ElevenLabs does not store the call audio after streaming and may retain its transcript for up to 30 days. Sharkproofed does not save the live audio or transcript; the in-app recap disappears when you leave its screen. Leaving the call or putting the app in the background ends the connection. Delete everything also requests deletion of the provider conversation.
Do not use the service to break the law, probe or overload our systems, or feed it content you have no right to record. We apply per-device usage limits to keep the service available for everyone. After the beta, the first two complete drills are planned to be free. The proposed Pitch Week pass includes up to 20 analyzed pitches during 7 days. The proposed Funding Round pass includes up to 100 analyzed pitches during 3 months. A pitch counts when its personalized questions are delivered. Failed uploads or analyses do not use a free drill or paid analysis.
The TestFlight beta is free and cannot create a purchase. The proposed paid products are time-limited App Store passes: Pitch Week at $19 for 7 days and Funding Round at $99 for 3 months. Each is a separate purchase and does not renew automatically. There is no auto-converting free trial. When paid passes launch, Apple will process the payment and RevenueCat will provide purchase, restore and purchase-history flows. Apple's payment and refund rules will apply. Any price shown before then is a proposed post-beta price, not an offer for sale.
The service is provided as is, without warranties. We work to keep it fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Nothing here limits consumer rights you hold under mandatory local law.
